Outboard Diagnostics check list
Buying a used EFI 4 stroke outboard or DFI 2 stroke outboard? We can check most Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Evinrude and Johnson outboards that have diagnostic capability for faults and actual running hours. We also give the motor an overall check and a run.
Please note: We cant currently do diagnostic checks on Mercury outboards other than the early Yamaha made models and the early Honda BF115A and BF130A EFI outboards.
Diagnostic Check:
- Engine hours (ECM)
- Stored faults
- Historic faults
- Current faults
- 2 stroke oil setting (Evinrude E-Tec motors)
- Historic usage data (where available)
